If You Want an Adwords Expert Witness, You Need to Know It Is No Longer “Adwords”

As an AdWords expert witness, the first thing I have to tell you is that it is no longer called AdWords. Google, in its infinite wisdom, rebranded it as Google Ads on July 24th 2018. Adwords is no longer Adwords: it is Google Ads.Apparently, they did not consult with any grammarians, because saying something like “Google Ads is” (that is, a plural noun acting as a singular noun) is a bit of a grammatical problem. But Google has never been strong on its brand consistency!

However, if you are engaged in any sort of lawsuit regarding Google Ads/Adwords, I can help you. If the case refers to something before July 24th 2018, then it’s Adwords, and if it is any time after that, it is Google Ads. I am glad we have cleared that little lot up!

The most important thing is that I can act as a Google Adwords expert witness on your behalf and explain to a judge and jury all the technicalities that are involved in words that they can understand. After all, there is no reason a judge, or the average man in the street from which a jury is composed, should know anything at all about Google’s advertising platform. They also probably have no idea about CPC, PPC, CPA, CTA, and all those other acronyms that are used so widely on the internet these days.

I Am Also Expert In SEO

I am also well-versed in SEO (there’s another one!), both on-page and off-page SEO, and can explain how web pages are designed so that Google will like them and rank them highly on their platform. I can show how keywords are inserted into places such as the title tag, the meta description, an image alt., and at strategic points throughout any content. I can explain what long-tail keywords are and how and why they are used.

I can also show a judge and jury how off-page SEO is conducted, involving link building, social media, and so on. Then, of course, there are the metrics – KPI’s, etc., and how these are measured using Google Analytics.

The problem from the point of view of a judge and jury, and also opposing counsel, is that the judge and counsel are lawyers and understand the law, while the jurors can be absolutely anyone and might be engaged in pig farming or dentistry – which has nothing to do with SEO, Google Ads, or anything else online.

This is why you need me as an Adwords expert witness – or Google Ads expert witness – because I understand all these things. More importantly, I can break them down into bite-sized pieces and explain them in simple English so that a lawyer or a pig farmer can understand them too.
