You Can Lose a Lot of Money on Instagram Advertising if You Get It Wrong

Advertising online can produce some dramatic results – provided that you know exactly what you are doing. In that respect, Instagram is no different from the rest of them. Advertising on Instagram is tricky.You have to keep bang up to date with all the changes that they make because what works one day may not work the next simply because Instagram changed things around.

You have to remember that Instagram is owned by Facebook, and that Mr. Zuckerberg is interested in one thing, and one thing only. That is how much more money he can extract from the paying public who want to advertise on his platforms. One might well wonder why, because he has so much of the stuff that he will never be able to spend it all. The next thing you know, he will be joining Mr. Bezos and Mr. Musk on a journey to the stars. But that is the way that it is.

Meanwhile, we poor mortals have to give Instagram our money because we need to advertise on Instagram. So, it follows that there are actually two ways of doing this. The first is that, when you own a business and want to advertise, you can write your own ads, read the instructions, and have a go at it.

Doing this, you may very well crack it. In time. In a very long time. Unfortunately, the learning curve is expensive. You will need very deep pockets to advertise on Instagram successfully because you need to experiment so much to find out what works and what doesn’t.
