Many business owners love social media because it is free to use. Well, OK, you don’t actually pay money to go on social media, but you have to pay with your time. This is known as “sweat equity”: you’re trading your time.Social media advertising expert

But here’s the good news: you can also advertise on social media, and many businesses do. In fact, that is how Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the rest of the mob make their money. They don’t make a cent out of you gabbling away about how your Auntie Bertha’s dog nearly got itself run over when chasing a cat.

No, they make money from people who advertise on their platforms, and that’s fair enough. But the problem is that it is not like placing an ad in a newspaper. When you do that, you know exactly how much the ad costs and what you are spending. But when you advertise on social media you pay for clicks.

Clicks Are Not Cheap

Now there is nothing wrong with that either, but the fact is that those clicks are not cheap. In most cases you are looking at a minimum of $2 per click for social media advertising, and very often a considerable amount more. If you are a law firm, for instance, you could be paying $30 a click!

There is still nothing wrong with paying that sort of money for social media advertising – provided that you get results! You make a sale. Someone joins your weight loss website. Or whatever it is that you want them to do.

But here’s the catch. You can be paying for clicks from people who have absolutely no interest in what you are selling. People who are just curious. Ten-year-olds who have got fed up with doing homework and are just clicking around online because they are bored. You want to pay for those sorts of clicks?

But the trouble is that you do. Facebook and the gang charge you for the click, and the more clicks you get the better they like it. Do you suppose that they care what happens after the click? Overall, no. Even if you stop buying ads from them, there are plenty more where you came from.

This is why, when you are using social media advertising, you really have to know what you are doing. Where to advertise. How to advertise. What to say.

And this is where I can help you because I am a social media advertising expert. I know the right places to advertise your particular product or service. I know how much to pay for clicks. I know how to write ads that convert. I have been doing it for years, and I do know what I am doing!
