Marketing, back in the “good old days” was more than the Internet. There were print publications, door-to-door, trade shows, personal selling, retail shops in the High Street (remember them?), etc. A few of these live on – such as “word of mouth” and even trade shows, post – Covid. Most marketing today is on the internet, that includes SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Google Ads.

However, the vast majority of marketing today is done on the Internet – online marketing – and you have to approach things from a completely different perspective if you want to stand out among the crowd and make money online. That means that you need expertise, and if you don’t have it, you will sink rather than swim. It is why you need an online marketing expert like myself to help you, because otherwise you can pour a small fortune down the drain and make hardly any sales.

Fortunately, I am such an expert. I have been doing it since 1994 so I understand Google as well as Google does. That means I know how to use Google Ads and I know how to use SEO so that Google likes it and puts you on the first page. I also know how to create an online store so that your goods or services get seen by those who want them.

You Pay For Every Click via Google Ads

You have to be so careful with Google Ads, for instance. When you advertise with Google for online marketing you pay for every click. That’s how Google makes its’ money. Do you suppose Google cares what happens after someone has clicked on your link? (Answers on a postcard, please!).

Do they, heck? Of course not. So, it means that you have to design and place your ads where the people who are interested in your product or service are going to be so that they will see it. What you do not want is a click from some spotty 14-year-old who has got fed up with playing Grand Auto Theft and is just drifting around online clicking on things for the sake of it. He or she has absolutely zero intention of buying anything and hasn’t got any money anyway.

Click!

There goes another two bucks. Google is happy. Are you?

Then there is SEO. You really have to know what you are doing with SEO so that Google likes your website and puts you on the first page – preferably in the top three which is where 30% of all clicks go. (Side note: only 10% of people ever go to page two).

With online marketing, you really do have to know what you are doing. The good news is that I do know what I am doing, so I can help you.
